We are a small, but perfectly formed, picture stock library located next to the Solent on the UK’s south coast. It’s our mission to provide up-to-date imagery of maritime-themed subjects for advertising, corporate communications, design, and editorial use.

About Gary Davies
Our founder and owner, Gary Davies, is a former Royal Navy photographer with more than 35 years experience producing high-quality stills imagery for media, web and editorial output. As a full-time freelancer, he also specialises in eye-catching interactive 360 panoramic photography. He is also a CAA-approved A2 C of C certified remote pilot, operating with commercial insurance.
With thousands of photographs used in a wide range of newspaper, defence, and shipping publications, his images have also illustrated postage stamps and even made a cameo appearance in a James Bond film! He has authored numerous articles on photographic and naval topics for a range of international publications. Since 2001, Gary has been the ‘Naval’ news correspondent for Ships Monthly magazine.
