Upgrade for Azamara

Azamara Club Cruises has announced plans for the renovation of its two 694-passenger ships, Azamara Journey (2000/30,277gt) and Azamara Quest (2000/ 30,277gt). Azamara Club Cruises is an upmarket subsidiary of Royal Caribbean International.

Azamara Quest will spend eight nights in drydock at Navantia Shipyard in Cadiz, starting 7 November 2012, whilst Azamara Journey will enter Singapore’s Sembawang Shipyard on 6 January 2013, for seven nights. Each will undergo a ship-wide facelift in both the passenger and crew areas and will emerge with a new dark-blue hull.
